From punta to punta in 2023
We invite you to participate in the 16th sports educational event"From punta to punta by sea and land - Da punta a punta via mare e via terra!" which will be held on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the City of Rovinj-Rovigno and the feast of St. EuphemiaSeptember 17 (Sunday) 2023.
This sports event is primarily of a sports-educational nature, it is not of a competitive nature, but the goal of the participants is to "touch" every cape of our exceptional part of the coast, slowing down or speeding up in order to reach Rovinj by land and sea at the same time.
What makes this project attractive are the participants of the event themselves: swimmers and paddlers from the sea side of the coast, and runners, cyclists and walkers along the land side of the coast.
The gathering of athletes is on Sunday, September 17, 2022. at 9 o'clock in the meadow in front of Come Back in front of Ruja Bay.
Swimmers they start at 10 a.m. from Valsaline bay and swim 6,000 meters to the finish line, which is at 12 p.m. in Ruja bay (Comeback), followed by refreshments and socializing.
Cyclists, runners and walkers start at 10 a.m. from the meadow near Comeback in front of Ruja Bay.
Racing they run from Ruja to Valalta and back in a length of 5000 m.
Cyclists and walkers they go along the Štrika ferata trail. Cyclists ride a shorter and longer track, and the length of the track will be determined on the spot on Sunday.
Walkers walk 5000 m.
The joint arrival of all athletes is at 12 o'clock in front of the Comeback.
