On the 14th, the event ¨From punta to punta by sea and land - Da punta a punta via mare e via terra¨, which was supposed to take place on 17.09. it was postponed due to bad weather and the new date is Sunday, September 25, 2022.
This sports event is primarily of a sports-educational nature, it is not of a competitive nature, but the goal of the participants is to "touch" every cape of our exceptional part of the coast, slowing down or speeding up in order to reach Rovinj by land and sea at the same time.
What makes this project attractive are the participants of the event themselves: swimmers and paddlers from the sea side of the coast, and runners, cyclists and walkers along the land side of the coast.
The gathering of athletes is on Saturday, September 25, 2022. at 9 o¨clock in the meadow in front of Comeback in front of Ruja bay.
Swimmersthey start at 10 a.m. from the Valsalina bay and swim 6,000 meters to the finish line, which is at 12 p.m. in the Ruja bay (Comeback), followed by refreshments and socializing. Valsalina is reached by boat, the call is at 9:30 a.m.
Cyclists, runners and walkers they start at 10 a.m. from the meadow near Comeback in front of Ruja Bay.
Racing they run from Ruja to Valalta and back in a length of 5000 m.
Cyclists and walkers follow the Štrika ferata path. Cyclists ride a shorter and a longer track, and the length of the track will be determined on the spot on Saturday.
Walkers walk 5000 m.
The youngest members go with their parents to the rowing club (walk or run) where a puffer is waiting for them... and then at 12 they come back for a comeback
The joint arrival of all athletes is at 12 o¨clock in front of the Comeback.
